2026 Nutcracker Auditions
Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 12th: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to audition time to warm up. Female dancers wear black leotard and pink tights.
You will be auditioning with your new 2026-27 level. Room A.
1:00-2:00 pm - Elite (on pointe)
2:00-3:00 pm - Advanced (on pointe only if you have been on pointe since last Dec)
3:00-4:00 pm - JR, Premier, Intermediate (non pointe)
4:00-5:00 pm - Apprentice, Novice

Elite (on pointe)1:00-2:00 - $125
Advanced (on pointe since Dec.) 2:00-3:00 - $105
JR, Premier, Intermediate (non-pointe) 3:00-4:00 - $95
Apprentice, Novice 4:00-5:00 - $85
This includes auditions and all rehearsals and rental costume rentals.
Dancers with more than one role pay an additional $20.

The Nutcracker Levels Audition Form 2026
Return form with payment for audition/rehearsal/costume fee to the studio by Thursday, September 10th. There will be a $10 late fee if not turned in prior to auditions.
Summer Ballet Class Requirements:
JR, Apprentice: 8 ballet classes (Intensive counts for 4)
Novice, Premier: 12 ballet classes (Intensive counts for 6)
Intermediate: 14 ballet classes (Intensive counts for 7)
Advanced, Elite: 16 ballet classes (Intensive counts for 8)
Rehearsals will be held at the studio on Saturdays, starting Sept 19th through November 21st and attendance is VERY important. Run-throughs where we run the show from beginning to end at the studio will be Saturday, November 21st for ACD – Elite, and Sunday, November 29th for everyone including Kindy - ACD. The Elite roles of Sugar Plum and Clara require a major time commitment. Please do not miss more than 2 rehearsals. Kindy, Kindy/BCD, BCD, ICD, ACD, MDF Minis & Tater Tot
Students in Kindy, Beginning Children’s Dance (BCD), Intermediate Children’s Dance (ICD), and Advanced Children’s Dance (ACD), MDF Minis and Tater Tots who wish to perform are automatically placed in a dance part. We strongly believe that our studio is set apart from others by offering this opportunity in our curriculum. With many more performances to experience, it provides the students with an insight to the world of ballet and gives them the history of the “ballet”.
No audition required. Kindy, Kindy/BCD, BCD, ICD, ACD, MDF Minis & Tater Tot Dancers will be placed in parts according to class level!
There will be two casts and dancers will only be cast in one show
Dancers will be notified the week of September 21st to indicate which group number and show they are cast in. Also, watch the website and bulletin boards at the studio!! The first rehearsal will be September 26th at the studio.
