Studio Policies


Tuition is due during the last week of the month for the next month. Tuition received after the second class of the month is subject to a $10 late fee. Miller Dance runs on a calendar month, which means that the tuition remains the same whether there are 3, 4, or 5 classes in that month. We do not pro-rate for missed classes, but you are always welcome to make-up in another class. Please check with the office for make-up times.

Registration Fee

A non-refundable family registration fee of $35.00 is due when registering.

Make-up Classes

When classes are missed due to snow days or illnesses, they may be made up in the same class level on another day. We recommend that make-ups be made as soon as possible. No refunds granted.


If by the end of September, your child does not feel comfortable in the level we have placed them, please call Sabrina at the studio. If the teacher feels a child needs to be moved, we will contact you.


We cannot stress enough the safety issue of our dancers. Parents, please have a discussion with them about walking to stores during breaks. Parents, please do not drop your children off more than 15 min. prior to the studio opening and please pick them up as soon as their class is done.

Snow Days

If the school district in your area is closed, we will probably also be closed. Please call the recording in the afternoon for evening classes. Sometimes the weather may clear up enough to have later classes. Check the home page for Weather Closure information as well.

Dance Attire

Ballet - solid colored leotard and pink tights are required in all classical ballet classes. No dangling jewelry. Hair must be in a bun or secured to their head. Children will be asked to sit out and call their parents after two infractions.

Hip Hop classes - need comfortable workout clothing and tennis shoes.

Other classes - need a leotard or other dancewear, no street clothing, please.
