Recital pictures will be taken at the studio location your child’s classes are held. The Main Character Pictures for Shows 1&2 will be held in Parker, Show 3 at Saddle Rock and Shows 4&5 at Hampden.

14th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival

The 14th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival is just around the corner. Be sure to check it out over Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 - 28, 2012. See you there!

MDF Auditions May 11th & 15th

Interested in auditioning for our competitive dance company ‘Millers Dance Force’?  Auditions will be held on Friday May 11th (Ages 5-11) & Tuesday May 15th (Ages 12+).  Students must audition in their age category, according to their competition age (age as of Jan 1, 2013).  Applications are due by Friday May 4th.  Please see the “About MDF” page to print off the Application with further details.

We have added a Ticket Q & A page for our ticket program to assist you in your purchase.

***For all those children who are only in the third section “Dancin’ Around the World” (hip-hop, poms, Irish, etc) if you want to watch the first half, the ticket purchased for your section will get you in. If your child is only in “Aladdin” (Groups 15 & 16), they will be released at intermission, so you may purchase a ticket for them to watch the third section. Groups 16, 17, & 18 will be released after their jazz number in the 3rd section, so you may want to purchase them a ticket for the remainder of the show.

It’s time for Father/Daughter dance!  Check out our spring recital page under the Father/Daughter dance tab for all information.  All ladies in Apprentice through Elite levels and their Dads are invited to participate.  See you April 7th!

2012 Spring Dance Classes

It’s that time of year again! We are accepting registration for our 2012 Spring Dance Classes. These are 9 week classes being held at the Saddle Rock and Hampden studios. The Parker studio will be holding 7 week classes.
They are a great way for your children to get an opportunity to experience dance.

Mommy & Me/Munchkins Session’s

An introduction to dance for our very youngest dancers. Ages 18mos. - 3 year olds are invited to attend a 6 or 7 weeks session of “Mommy & Me” and “Miller’s Munchkins”. These classes are structured to stimulate coordination skills, listening skills, balance, music interpretation, creative movement and motor development in the youngest dancers. This program is an excellent introduction to the world of dance. No registration fee required for these classes only. See Special Offerings Tab on the schedule page of each location for days and times.

Ballroom Dancing

If you are preparing for a wedding, anniversary, a trip or just want to learn Ballroom, we have the classes for you. Darline Miller teaches all ages from beginners to advance in a group or privately.  There are no contracts and you can schedule lessons around your time frame.  Please call 303-353-2789 to get started on an enjoyable experience. 

Tyne Stecklein in BURLESQUE!

Get ready for the movie “Burlesque” in which former Miller’s Dance student, Tyne Stecklein, not only is a principal dancer but also plays the role of Jesse!  The movie opened on November 24th and is rated PG13.  Also, keep your eyes open for promos on the AMA awards and DWTS on which Tyne will be performing in select numbers from the movie!

Since Burlesque, Tyne has been busy dancing and acting on DWTS, Glee, CSI, Comedy Central, commercials for Wii and Pepsi, music videos, and filming another movie called “No Strings Attached” starring Ashton Kutcher!  Her next projects are a Burlesque performance in London and a Michael Jackson Tribute in Japan, all before Christmas! 

Miller’s Kelly Bostdorff In the Mary Kay National Convention Shows!

2007 Miller Dance Studio graduate, Kelly Bostdorff, has performed for the Mary Kay Cosmetics National Convention in Dallas, Texas for two summers now! Kelly is now a senior at Oklahoma City University as a Dance Performance Major.  After graduating, Kelly plans to pursue her dance career in L.A. or New York City.
