2010 Summer Dance Camps and Ballet Intensives

Come join us for our fun filled Summer Dance Camps and Ballet Intensives. Each day of our camps are “theme” based with classes offered in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Musical Theater, and Poms. Our Ballet Intensives are a great way to keep in form and will help you meet the requirements to participate in the Fall Ballet show.

Alumni Update

Miller’s alum Tyne Stecklein was seen on the big screen this past fall both in Fame and in This Is It as one of MJ’s dancers.  While waiting for these movies to come out Tyne was very busy with new and exciting projects. She has filmed commercials for Bones and Guitar Hero, a music video for One Revolution, and has fit in some teaching gigs.  She is now working on a new movie called “Burlesque” starring Christina Aguillera in which Tyne is not only a principle dancer but also has a small speaking role!  We at Miller’s are so proud and happy that she is getting to pursue her dreams!

LA Dancemagic a success!!!!

This past weekend, Tour de Force team members attended LA Dancemagic in Westminster.  Congratulations to all who attended and danced their hearts out!  Also, Congrats to our scholarship finalists, Anna Stardubtseva, Valerie Wetmore, Meaghan Suchomel, Essence Sugar, Meaghan Carroll, Jasmine Sugar, Hannah Santistevan, Janae Jenkins, Tiffany Theodore, & Taryn DeLoach.  And those who went on to win scholarships, Valerie Wetmore, Meaghan Suchomel, Essence Sugar, Jasmine Sugar, & Taryn DeLoach.  And also to Janae Jenkins and Hannah Santistevan who won the prestigious Star Performer Awards!  Both the Convention and the Competition were a success and we are so proud of all of our dancers.  Go, TDF!!!!

Mommy & Me/Munchkins Session’s

An introduction to dance for our very youngest dancers. Ages 18mos. - 3 year olds are invited to attend a 6 or 7 weeks session of “Mommy & Me” and “Miller’s Munchkins”. These classes are structured to stimulate coordination skills, listening skills, balance, music interpretation, creative movement and motor development in the youngest dancers. This program is an excellent introduction to the world of dance. No registration fee required for these classes only. See Special Offerings Tab on the schedule page of each location for days and times.

Ballroom Dancing

If you are preparing for a wedding, anniversary, a trip or just want to learn Ballroom, we have the classes for you. Darline Miller teaches all ages from beginners to advance in a group or privately.  There are no contracts and you can schedule lessons around your time frame.  Please call 303-353-2789 to get started on an enjoyable experience. 

Tyne Stecklein at MJ’s Memorial

The tragic loss of Michael Jackson will be severely felt by all who loved his music, his voice, his unique style of dance, and who were captivated by his mysterious personna.  The magic of his talent and performance will leave an impact on us all. 

Former Miller’s student, Tyne Stecklein, will especially feel this loss.  Tyne had been one of the two girls selected to dance for MJ’s upcoming London show.  Having rehearsed with him just the night before his death, Tyne knows she is truly blessed to have worked with him, to have learned from him, and to have experienced the love so present in his being.  She will have a memory that few can share.  How blessed she is indeed!  We send her our thoughts, our love, and our prayers.  And as always, we are so proud of her!
