Molly Bennett (MB)
Molly H. Bennett, TCRG, is certified by the Irish Dance Commission to teach all types of Irish dancing. She is artistic director of the Bennett School of Irish Dance in Denver. Molly has been active in Irish dancing for a quarter of a century, and previously studied Scottish and Irish music, Scottish highland dancing, and the ancient art of Celtic knotwork. She also owns It's Knotwork to Me, which makes embroidered Irish dancing dresses for a nationwide clientele.
Besides teaching at the Miller Studios and her own school, Molly is a popular teacher of the Irish ceili (party) dances for such groups as the Colorado Friends of Old-Time Traditional Music and Dance and the Long's Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival. She teaches music at the Swallow Hill Music Association and the California Traditional Music Society's midsummer festival, where she has performed and taught for more than 20 years.
