Donovan Helma (DH)
Donovan Helma began his dance training at the age of 3 under the direction of Miller's Dance Studio in Aurora, Colorado. Before the age of 17, Donovan had studied with many tap legends including Savion Glover, Greg Russell, and Henry Le Tang, Jason Samuel Smith, just to name a few. His studies also included the original American cast of "Tap Dogs" and various national tap conventions. Donovan has performed in a General Motor's industrial along with Monday Night Football halftime shows. He has just recently performed in Montreal’s "Danse Encore International Festival". He toured with "Tap Dogs Rebooted" in 2004 and has just completed the "Tap Dogs" 2006 national tour. Donovan is currently living in New York and perfecting his dance skills. Donovan is now involved with his company Tapademics which tours nationally giving workshops in Tap, Hip-hop and turns and leaps. For more information go to http://www.tapontour.com.
