Cheri Janz (CJ)
Cheri L R Janz began dancing at three and teaching at eighteen, and is experienced in ballet, modern, jazz, tap and lyrical. She has studied with some of the "greats" in the world of modern dance including Martha Graham, Twyla Tharp, Alwin Nikolais and Bill Evans. She graduated with both teaching and education degrees in dance, and owned her own studio for eleven years.
Cheri has been at Miller's since 1993 and is the founder and director of the Tour de Force Dance Company. Cheri has organized performance tours which have taken company members to California, Florida, The Bahamas and on two cruise ships.
Cheri also serves as a judge for several different companies. She has adjudicated dance, talent and scholarship competitions throughout the U.S. and Canada on both the regional and national levels. Cheri enjoys passing on her love for the art of dance to the next generation.
